I have a girlfriend who lives in Chicago. Her and her husband love it there. They have four season, the scenery is beautiful and there is so much to do. I’ve never been to Chicago so I thought it would be fun if my son and I took some time off and went out there to see her. She is still in school so it was difficult to find a time that we could come. She ended up only being available for about two days, so I decided I would go out by myself and we would have a girls weekend.
When I got out there, she had everything planned. We were going to go to a baseball game on Friday to watch the cubs play and then on Saturday we were going to take a walk around the city, see all the cool buildings and go across the ferry to get a great view of it. That night we were going to get a Chicago limo rental and go out on the town. I told her she didn’t have to get the Chicago limo rental, but she wanted to. It would make the night feel special and it would be perfect for ladies night.We had such a good time and I think it was probably one of the best vacations I’ve been on in a while. I got to get away from work and being mommy, plus I got to spend time with one of my best friends.
